Salinity measurement is now handled differently by SW calculation (VA SALT SMART version V90 and later): based on temperature and voltage measurements at 100% power. The salinity is shown on the display continuously at full power in manual mode 100% or is automatically updated during the self-cleaning process (polarity change with 100% power).
VA SALT SMART accessories - PROBE IS NOT AVAILABLE
The pool water is treated by electrolysis of salt water. The electrolytic
reaction releases free chlorine that immediately disinfects the pool. The
system prevents the smell of chemical products since it eliminates the
chloramine which produces foul smell. The water in your pool should be
sligthly salted: 3–5 g/l of water. With this salt for pools, the systems
generates chlorine by means of the separation of salt (NaCl) molecules,
which split into Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl). This is achieved by
applying a low tension electric current on surface of Titanium
electrodes in the cell.
